My friend on the path
has gone away,
to return I know not -
and in what way, if so.


Nonetheless
I cannot love half-hearted,
so I wait.

Yet I cannot wait half-hearted,
so I wait with my whole heart.

Others are different.
To wait with your whole heart
or to move on with your whole heart
is not the point.
