Uncompromising

The master will mirror
your unconscious uncompromisingly,
and your unconscious is full of contradictions:
love and hate, marriage and adultery,
sex and celibacy, richness and poverty,
success and failure.

This is the function of the master:
to show you your unconscious.
And the master speaks
sometimes to an individual,
and sometimes to a crowd.

If the crowd worships celibacy,
then their unconscious will be full of sex.
So the master will tell tales of sex.


The crowd may think
the master is speaking against them,
so they will crucify the master.
But the master will even die
rather than compromise.
