Who killed the electric car?
Although in those days
the pollution was thick
in the streets,
people weren’t concerned.

Thankfully people
seem to like heat less,
and so the electric car
will have another run.

Perhaps one day
I will enjoy a morning walk
in city centrals;
listening to the birds chirping,
and smelling the fragrant trees.
Although it may well be pretty hot.
